A Rare Antique Carved Spoon Rack

Description

A rare finely carved spoon rack. Faculous carved circular roundel decorations. Three horizontal spoon slots for the spoons, parts missing. The top section with the date 1572 and heart has been carved at a later date. Possibly it was damaged but the owner got someone to recarve the top part as it is an important piece It has been done extremely well.
