This is a charming Victorian needlework of great skill and precision depicting a large rose, mounted in its original frame. The embroidery is finely worked to give great detail and the fabric retains lovely bold deep colours. The piece dates from around 1860 and measures 12 cms by 10 cms overall.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
