Description

This is a very pretty Scandinavian coopered barrel with beautiful hand painted floral design. The barrel is in super order with delightful bold colours and it’s original hoop carrying handles to the sides. This is a great size for a practical umbrella / stick stand or would be useful as a waste paper bin or other storage purpose. The barrel dates from the late 19th century circa 1890 and measures 47 cms high 35 cms wide by 26 cms deep overall. The oval opening at the top (neck) being 29 cms by 24 cms.
