Antique Leather Four Fold Screen Victorian Aesthetic Period

Description

This is a fabulous Victorian antique leather four fold screen in super order with beautiful embossed designs to the hand coloured polychrome panels. The screen has a slightly arched shape to the four folding sections and the leather panels are in remarkably good order. The screen dates from the aesthetic Victorian period, circa 1870 and is beautifully decorated with birds, fruit flowers and acanthus leaf in a classical style. The panels each measure 54 cms in width and the screen is 173 cms high.
