A large & highly decorative example of a late 19th century pine shipwright's half hull model of a steamboat or paddle steamer, possibly Scandinavian, 'BYGNING No: 578' translating to 'Building No: 578'.

This piece is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home - there are fixings attached to enable it to be hung on a wall and it would make a wonderful statement piece.
