Impressive Antique Walnut Burr on Cumbrian Stone Mount

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a most impressive artwork of great scale and impact. The fabulous natural solid wood walnut burr is over 100 years old and is a huge impressive piece that has an incredible figured and randomly varied shape and texture that is most decorative and appealing from any angle. The polished burr is raised on a substantial steel pole set within a large heavy block of hewn red Cumbrian sandstone. This is a fine piece that would looks amazing and would suit a modern or antique interior situation. The burr itself measures 85cms wide by 31cms deep with the overall height of the sculpture being 133cms.

UK delivery can be arranged with our furniture courier and costs £60 plus vat to most destinations.
