Antique Indian Embroidered Wall Hanging

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a very pretty Gujerat embroidered panel with strong vibrant colours which dates from the early 20th Century. The finely embroidered panel has applique decoration and mica mirror panels. It is in excellent condition and measures 78 cms by 60 cms. This colourful piece would perhaps have been used as a cot cover for a baby but would make a beautiful wall hanging or it could be used over a chair or sofa to add a splash of colour.
