Description

This beautiful VICTORIAN EMBROIDERED ROYAL COAT OF ARMS dates from circa 1880.

Framed and behind glass, the SILK stitches are worked on a black silk ground. The central ROYAL SHIELD, with CROWN above, is set within garlands of ENGLISH ROSES, SCOTTISH THISTLES and IRISH SHAMROCK.

The Embroidery appears to be in its original frame.

The condition is good.
