AJD Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The handle, collar and blade are early 19th century; the collar has a makers mark for McHattie & Fenwick, Edinburgh (1799-1807) and the blade is a good fullered triangular steel with an edge, ending in a fine point.
The scabbard has been made to appear as Hawthorn and the brass ferrule is also later.
That having been said, the sword stick is still a handsome piece.
