Stunning pair of French c19th solid marble cassolette lamps with brass ormolu.
Great proportions and great impact through their size, beautifully finished with the garland drapes and Swan necks, laurel leaf decoration to the square bases.
Originally, the brass ormolu would have been highly polished, bright brass tone, but this has aged beautifully and given this lovely ''bronze'' effect...which could be polished up if required.
Super quality and fantastic marble, great condition, great decor pieces in original condition.
They have now been fully wired with bronze effect braided cord and a side entry for the cable at the bulb fitting
