Description

A 19th Century 4 fold leather screen, the panels painted with exotic birds and blossoms within embossed and studded borders. The background is a beautiful mellow tone, a perfect foil for the vivid colours of the decoration. The condition of the screen is reasonably good as can be seen from the photos. the backs of the panels have been lined with paper and there is evidence of minor restoration, this is not detrimental to the appearance or use of the screen. A beautiful antique leather screen to add style and glamour wherever placed.
