Description

Dating to around 1880, this is a wonderful Victorian bookslide made from Walnut with highly decorative polished brass mounts to each end. The brass mounts are enhance with decorative engraving.

The underside retains it's wonderful red velvet protective fabric and even the original price ticket.

Excellent condition, the base measuring 12 1/2" long extending to 18" x 5 " wide.
