Description

This is an imposing pair of Indian elephants hand carved in solid rosewood dating from the early 20th Century. The elephants are superbly and profusely inlaid throughout with carved camel bone detail in their own individual style and they both still have their original carved hardwood tusks.

The elephants are very heavy and a really good size measuring 50 cms long 40 cms high and 26 cms deep.
