Description

An interesting Japanese ivory okimono, Meiji Period (1868-1912). Amusingly carved as Raiden, his wife and son on a family outing. He wears robes, and carries a large parasol, and lantern. His wife stood to his side, and his son crouched behind him. All upon a shared base.

Signed to base.

Height - 5 cm, 2”.

Width - 3.5 cm, 1 3/8”.

Depth - 2.6 cm, 1”.

Condition - Some typical age cracks, commensurate with age. Otherwise excellent condition. No repairs.
