Circa 1900 Terracotta Bear Stick Stand

Description

I believe this to be from the Victorian period from Austria, but I've only seen one other in 20 years and that was in a private collection. It is akin to the Black Forest wood carved stick stands.

It is hand sculpted in terracotta with glass eyes. The stick stand part is in the shape of a tree trunk.

Minor damage to note: one top tooth chipped off; back right foot has had a break underneath that has been well repaired and is not noticeable when standing as intended.

All the rest in very good original condition
