Description

A Victorian two fold dressing screen decorated with decoupage. Scenes and personalities from the 1880's. Advertising cut from journals,animals, gentlemen and fashionable ladies of the time. A brilliant peep into the period.

Some losses and cracks but immediately useable,clean and very decorative.The frame is ebonised mahogany sceured with brass screws. The screen is in two pieces which are hinged together with three brass hinges. It folds in two... one way only. The back is lined with original Victorian fabric which was damaged and repaired (please see photos).

Perfect in a corner or dressing room.

The two panels are both 62 cm wide and 158 cm high.
