Description

Large 1920's Ministry of Defence Wicker Basket.

A very long, unusual English wicker basket with leather protective corners and edges. Originally made for and used by the Ministry of Defence in the twenties, the baskets boarded pine base is impressed with the Minisrty of Defence's symbol. In very good, solid condition, all complete and a lovely colour. Would look great in a hallway full of shoes or by the side of a large fireplace with logs.
