Of rare beauty is this important antique wooden fragment of a Christ figure, dating to the second half of the 16th, or early part of the 17th century. Probably of Catalonian origin, the Christ's face is still very gothic, while his body already show a trace of baroque movement and grace.

There are traces of original paint remaining. There is old damage from woodworm, accidents, wear and erosion notably to the back, as well as some amateur repair, as expected for such a piece.
