Chinese Style Dinner Gong

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1900s, Chinese style dinner gong. The frame is made in bamboo which has been painted and scumbled, with brass ring turns finishing on each side, it has a shaped and planished brass gong and its original beater (suede top) made in satinwood. Finishing on 4 bamboo legs with crossover stretchers and ring turning.
