Description

This is a fantastic ( and larger than the average ) pair of fully restored and polished French louis xv style "bombe" side tables, lamp tables or bedside tables, circa 1920 and in excellent condition.

The proportions of this pair are great for use as stand alone lamp tables, or will give you more space as bedside tables, unusual to find them at this size.

Beautifully made and inlaid, finished with all original ormolu mounts and shaped marble top to follow the shape of the bombe sides and front section.

The three drawers are a useful size for additional storage and all run well. One of the set of drawers has been lined and the other has been left with the oak visible.

Great decorative pieces and with so many different uses

Priced as the pair and ready to go

They measure:

29’’ or 74cm high

18 1/2’’ or 47cm widest point at the rear

11 1/2’’ or 29cm at the deepest point in the centre

Delivery to most England, Wales and Scotland addresses at £55, but please send me your postcode if you are a bit remote or coastal as it could be more...or you are very welcome to collect from me in Uppingham, Rutland so you can view them too

Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Secure Transit

Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

The Sustainable Choice

Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
