Pair of early C19th French bronze neo-classical Empire design bronze Tazzas on ormolu-mounted rouge marble bases.

Smart pair of patinated bronze shallow-bowl tazzas surmounting well-figured rouge marble block plinth bases. The tazzas with crisply cast detail and retaining a consistent original dark patination throughout. The bodies each with gadrooned detail and cast edge rims and twin loop handles , raised on cast stem socle supports.

The rouge marble bases each mounted with a circular ormolu floral design patera to the central front facet , and with a cast moulded decoration above the stepped plinth base.

In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.

Superb classical decoration for a mantelpiece or side table .
