Antique Indian Painted Elephants Toys Folk Art

These delightful antique Indian elephants just ooze charm and character and are both in remarkably good order bearing in mind their great age, circa 1890.

The mother and baby are both still retaining their original tusks and tails and the gessoed paintwork has a really charming antique nature.

The wheels to the toys are all intact and they roll along perfectly.

A delightful pair of real folk art antiques.

The larger elephant is 20 cms by 20 cms by 10 cms deep while the baby measures 13 by 15 by 8 cms
