Description

This unusual EDWARDIAN INLAID MAHOGANY METAMORPHIC BUTLER'S TRAY dates from circa 1910.

It has a well-fitted and ingeniously-designed brass release mechanism that not only releases the legs but also retracts them whilst you are still holding the TRAY.

It is original throughout.

Ideal for serving lemonade on the lawn, high tea in the drawing room and scotch in the lounge.

Height when closed: 2.75 inches (7 cm)

Height when opened: 24 inches (61 cm)

Width including handles: 30 inches (77 cm)

Depth: 17.25 inches (44 cm)
