Description

A 19thC French portico panel 138cms wide so suitable for a large door or window opening, perhaps even over a fireplace. Typical gesso floral swags and rosettes with a stylised spiral moulding to the top. Some restoration to the top lhs moulding. Original deteriorating paint.

Wood panel back bearing the dealers label E JAMES 4 BRUTON STREET BOND STREET W ..Dealer in works of art. (The rear of the panel has been treated for woodworm as a precaution)
