Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Each octagonal pine board is hand painted with the cow's show name and each plaque has the origial metal hanging eyelets. When at a show, the plaques would be put on the pens for the judge to idenify the cow. All are in very good condition, dating from around 1900, an unusual antique collection that would look great, together on the wall.
