An exceptionally stylish and quintessentially Art Deco desk stand. The base is a sold piece of onyx, obviously chosen as the figuring in it flows beautifully through the piece. The two ink wells are chrome plated with black insets and have pottery liners. The whole piece is sleek and refined, with all the materials used of the finest quality. The design is so good that it must have been made by a great manufacturer but sadly it is not marked. The whole is in excellent condition with a few very minor nibbles to the edge of the onyx at the sides. C.1930
