This is a good game to play. It's an unusual version of Fox and Geese, early 19th century antique white wood game, with painted black line decoration to the top, and written on the board "The new military game of German tactics'. pink lining paper to the underneath. iThere are two red foxes and 20 white hens (with two spare).

The objective of the game is to jump over your opponents pieces and remove them from the board. The red pieces can move in any direction, whilst the white pieces can only move forwards, not back. C1820
