Description

Here we have a fine quality Victorian carved Oak dinner gong c1880. As you can see the frame has super colour and patina. The frame is beautifully carved with a central Lion mask flanked by Acanthus and scroll work. The side supports are well turned with a tapered column. The legs are well shaped and again beautifully carved with Acanthus decoration. The original Bronze gong and makes a lovely deep resonating sound. A super period gong in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 41 inches high 26 wide and 21 deep.
