Large Edwardian Racing Pond Yacht

1900 - 1920
Description

Just in from a local house I cleared. An impressive large size "6 metre class" Edwardian period model racing yacht. The nice shape hull is manufactured in the proper fashion with 1/2" wide strips and a large lead weighted keel. The hull is made from beech or birch it is hard to tell for sure with a plywood deck. Original mahogany single mast. Comes with both sails etc and all the relevant rigging. Not knowing anything about model yachts I probably have it rigged up in-correctly !!!

Comes with painted wooden stand and various Model Yachting Association racing certificates.
