Unusual Early 19th Century Dutch Jardinere

Description

Unusual design early 19th century Dutch mahogany jardinere in very nice original condition. This example is a bit different to the usual type you see and is also a bit higher as well. Great design with thin curved bars and various carved decoration. The round base part with carved fluted decoration. The jardinere retains its original copper inside which is dovetailed at the seam. The piece stands on its original small turned feet.

There is no damage and it retains its original patination with good waxed finish.

SIZE; 24" high. 14" diameter.
