Victorian Cased Microscope & 70 Slides

Description

Marratt & Ellis, London: a good late 19th century BOXED MICROSCOPE with a separate box of some 60 microscope slides.

The fitted mahogany case has a drawer with a dozen or so slides plus various lenses and attachments, whilst the matching mahogany box (with original key) contains numerous trays of further prepared slides making about 60 in all. The microscope is signed and the lenses all appear perfect. The box: 11ins high; 7.5ins wide; 6ins deep; the box of slides: 8.5ins wide.
