Victorian Folk Art Cigar Wrapper Bowl

Description

This is an unusual piece of folk art from the Victorian era. One of the artistic pastimes indulged by some was the decoration of a plain item with attractive advertising wrappers etcetera to create something beautiful. In this instance a plain glass bowl has been cleverly covered with ornate and colourful cigar wrappers in an eye catching circular design. The bowl is in good order and has a useful hanger attached. It measures 31 cms in diamater. UK delivery is free.
