Each curtain pole has a decorative urn shaped turned finial at each end, the finails un-screw, they have quality brass fittings, also, ingeniously, there is a brass groove inset with brass rollers and pulleys for the curtain draw cords, though you don't have to use this added extra. Both these 19th century antique mahogany curtain poles are in very good condition, a great long size, the poles can easily be shortened.
