Description

An attractive and large papier mache black lacquer and painted tray by Jennens & Bettridge. The centre beautifully decorated with water lilies and framed within a border of gilded scrolling foliage. The reverse with impressed mark for "Jennens and Bettridge" and Royal Crown (manufacturers between 1815 to 1864 in Birmingham and also had premises in London). Codition very good with one or two star flaws which do not show on a photograph. Size:- Height...23.5''/ 60cm. Width...31.5/ 80cm. Depth...2''/ 5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £32.
