Rare 17th Century Antique Oak Door.

Description

This is a fantastic, English antique period oak door that is wonderfully made and so original. Constructed in plank form with battons attached using wooden studs that protrude through the door, as nails were hand made at this time and costly. Complete with the lovely wooden handle that is painted in ancient paint and the back of the door displays the original, saw pit marks. In very good condition, all very solid and complete with the original iron hinges. Perfect for a restoration project on a period house, or it looks great, just leant up against a wall as a work of art!
