Miles Griffiths Antiques Ltd has dated this piece to the Regency era.
The design is a Regency acantus leaf and all fourteen are very well cast and in good condition. Nine uprights have the full length square section at the base, whilst the other five have shorter sections, but all match in the actual design. Once was a balcony, but these antique uprights could be put to other uses.
