Massive Berlin Style Tapestry in Gilded Frame

Description

This tapestry is behind glass so if the glass is removed the colours will appear more vibrant.

The tapestry, made around 1880 depicts a figure group plus animals and birds of prey.

The tapestry is surrounded by a magnificent frame which is in good order.

The colours of the tapestry are good considering the age of the piece .....nearly 140 years old.

The outer measurements in total are

100 ins wide

50 ins deep

.....and very heavy!
