Whisky Advertising Mirror

19th century
Description

Circa 1890, rosewood framed etched glass mirror. With a mixture of reversed painted glass and in the centre a panel depicting 2 warriors and a coat of arms of the MacNabs. It also features the brand Glen Mavis Distilleries fine old malt whisky, Bathgate and trademark. There is some foxing on the left hand side of the mirror, however it is rare to find mirrors of this period and region.
