Description

This is a most unusual and exquisite pair of Chinese silver wire inlaid hardwood carvings. These well carved sculptures depict Chinese immortals riding upon a pair of stags accompanied by many monkeys. These are beautifully inlaid with silver wire and the eyes are in black glass beads. The figures are in excellent condition and have a wonderful rich colour. The figures are substantial in size measuring 46 cms high by 24 cms wide and 11 cms deep.
