A very rare item, this is a device for giving water to birds in cages and aviaries. The frame is made of naturalistically modeled cast iron, which looks like branches and leaves. The water is kept in a globe reservoir of blown glass and is released in a little bowl in the front. The whole is in excellent condition. C.1880
