The 19th Century hand painted Cantonese Rose Garden plate is housed within its original superb Gilded frame.The plate is in excellent condition as is the Gilding.There is a small brass collar at the top of the stem and under the plate. There are slight very small traces of paint where it had been overpainted at some stage of its life. which are hardly noticeable.I believe the Gilding is so excellent because it had been protected for many years. There is no Gilding missing anywhere on this fine item. This lovely Antique centrepiece measures 11.5''/29cm high and the overall width is 15.5''/39cm.
