Attractive Chinese 4 Fold Screen

Description

A late 19th century Chinese 4 fold screen. The attractive onlaid decoration with hardstones, ivory, mother of pearl and bone against a black/brown lacquer background with further raised gold and coloured lacquer highlights. The back decorated with gilded trees, birds and foliage and standing on brass feet. The right hand fold is faded as can be seen in the photos but the whole is in very good condition with no losses.

Height...72'' / 183cm. Width...180cm. Depth closed...5.25'' / 13.5cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £55.
