Wonderful Welsh Antique Straw Work Picture of Menai Bridge.

This fabulous, mid 19th century Welsh straw work antique picture titled, Menai Bridge and Tubral Bridge. It shows the Britannia Bridge that was built in 1850 for trains, it was designed by Robert Stephenson. You can just make out the four famous stone lions. The other is the Menia Bridge, which was built in 1826 and designed by Thomas Telford. Both connect Anglesey to mainland Wales. Amazing work and attention to detail. Additionally to the bridges, there are trees, land and shipping in the picture. Mounted in a super burr maple frame. In excellent condition. A very decorative and intersting Welsh antique straw work picture.
