An amazing find; an imposing single propellor blade from a World War One bomber – believed to be a Vickers Vimy – in laminated hardwood, later mounted on a plain triple-stepped grey painted plinth. It is now a beautiful and dramatic looking free-standing work of art. The finish is original; just a gentle revive and the application of beeswax has been given to produce a soft lustre shine. This remarkable objet d''art is English, c.1917.

Overall height 72½” (1840mm)

Footprint of plinth base 16½” x 11½” (420 x 295mm)
