Two Good 19thc Walking Canes

Description

Two good malacca shafted 19thC walking canes. One with a substantial English silver marked knop which itself is 8 cms long and 4.5 cms diameter at the top. the shaft being 90.5 cms long with and original long horn ferrule to the tip. The knop is floral engraved with the top engraved with the letter H. The other cane has an extremely attractive white metal knop (probably Indian silver) which is floral embossed with a native figure and a heart cartouche which is not engraved with initials. The knop measures 5.5 cms long and is 3 cms diameter at the top the shaft being 86.5 cms long. the brass ferrule at the tip is a replacement. This cane has two white metal eyes in the shaft which surround the wrist thong cord entry and exit.

To be sold together.
