A truly superb piece of Napoleonic prisoner of war carving. The casket is in carved and pierced bone with a sliding lid revealing a set of bone dominoes. The box is profusely and extremely intricately carved and pierced to a stunning quality. The lid reveals the dominoes but also has an original watercolour under it of a Regency period dandy. A truly rare and wonderful antique in exceptional condition. C.1810.
