19th Century Dutch Sycamore Kettle Bucket of Good Patina

A mid 19th century Dutch sycamore kettle bucket of good patina (colour).

The bucket has a ribbed design with ebonised decoration forming a pattern on the ribs.

This item still has it's original brass liner and a brass handle, mounted onto a brass band at the top.

This bucket would have contained smoldering charcoal within the brass liner and this would have been used to keep a kettle hot.

This piece is in excellent condition and could be used for a decorative waste bin or for storage purposes etc.
