Description

A wonderful piece of scrimshaw work on a whales tooth, the scene depicts two sailors sat on a bench, one whittling the other in conversation, wearing the typical sailors uniforms of the whalers from north america, the scrimshaw is signed FM and dated 1848.

It is in good original condition.
