Pair of Late 19thc Continental Carved Walnut Pilasters

A pair of late 19th century Continental carved walnut pilasters in the Classical form, possibly French or Italian.

The pilasters consist of Corinthian style capitals to the top with carved scrolling floral and foliate designs.

This leads down to a panel with superbly carved scrolling floral and foliate designs, each with a carved figure and Classical urns.

This leads down to a lower panel also carved with floral and foliate designs with a moulding to the base.

Each pilaster has been applied to a pine back and each has applied hooks on the back to allow them to be easily hung on a wall etc.

The pilasters are very decorative items, one having slight wear to the top but generally are in very good condition.

Width: 4.75'' / 12cm

Depth: 2'' / 5cm
