Description

Victorian heavy coopered oak elliptical or oval oak hall stick or umbrella stand.

So much more interesting than the more common round ones.

Originally a ship's breaker.

Lovely age, charm and patina.

Heavy and strong, with no woodworm.

Nice proportions and styling.

Overall maximum dimensions: 48cm wide, 37cm deep, 65cm high (30cm x 22.5cm mouth).

May not be water tight.

As with all genuine antique furniture, you can expect to see some historic knocks, marks, wear, imperfections, cracks, scratches, repairs and/or alterations.
